This eyebrow trend conjures up beautiful and full brows

Full and thick eyebrows - a dream of many women. With Powder Browse this wish becomes possible! Find out what the eyebrow trend is all about here.
What are Powder Brows?
Eyebrows emphasize our eyes and give our face contour. Unfortunately, we are not always blessed with full, thick brows: Plucking errors, deficiencies, hormonal changes, diseases, medications or even hair roots damaged by cosmetic products can be to blame. But often we just want to emphasize our eyebrows a bit more. Here remains to reach for the eyebrow pencil or eyebrow powder, if you do not necessarily want to undergo microblading. But there is another option for full brows, which has triggered a new eyebrow trend for a while now: We are talking about the so-called Powder Brows.

Powder Brows belong to the techniques with permanent makeup. This is an application technique of permanent color, which conjures up even and dense eyebrows. A fine nano-needle (similar to a tattoo machine) is used to apply the permanent make-up under the eyebrows. This does not create hard lines, but small dots that provide gentle shading.

How long do Powder Brows last?
Powder Brows can last up to two years. Some users even report a shelf life of up to three years. Often, however, re-treatment is applied after some time so that the color stays nice and fresh. Basically, you have to keep in mind that the shelf life of Powder Brows depends on the regeneration speed and the condition of the skin. Especially with oily skin and young skin, the durability can be reduced.

Difference between Powder Brows and Microblading
Both Powder Brows and Microblading belong to the permanent makeup techniques.

Differences in application:

In Powder Brows, the color pigments are pricked into the skin with a needle to create shading. The treatment for Powder Brows is often experienced as less painful than Microblading.
Microblading, on the other hand, involves using a blade (a type of small scalpel) to carve fine lines into the skin and fill them with color. The small hairs are virtually traced in microblading, which is often experienced as painful. This technique can also remain visible for up to two years, depending on the skin condition.
Differences in the result:

As the result, Microblading scores with its naturalness: here, bald spots are filled - the brows look natural.
Powder Brows, on the other hand, create a stronger contrast (especially with light skin types). They look much more expressive and appear as if the eyebrows have been finished. Over time, however, they also become a bit softer in intensity.
Summary: While Microblading tries to imitate the natural hairs, Powder Brows greatly intensify the brows. So it all depends on what effect you want to achieve!
Tip: Some cosmetic studios also offer combination methods of both techniques to get full brows with a combination of hair drawing and shading.

What should be considered with Powder Brows?
Under certain circumstances, some people may be allergic to the colors used. Your cosmetic studio should inform you about this beforehand. If you have any concerns, an allergy test is recommended before the treatment.
In addition, your studio should advise you in detail about the shape and color of the eyebrows.
Costs for Powder Brows
The prices for Powder Prows depend on the cosmetic studio. Prices between 300 and 600 euros are normal (similar for microblading). Find out if the price already includes a post-treatment.
